It applies to information collected through the Site only. Information handled under a signed client agreement (such as a Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, or Data Processing Agreement) is governed by that agreement, not this policy.

When you fill out our contact form, schedule a call through our booking tool, apply through our careers page, or email us, we collect the information you choose to give us. If you book a call, our scheduling provider also collects the date, time, and any details you enter.

Born West is based in the United States, and information collected through the Site is processed in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, transfers of personal data from the EEA or UK rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's settings (by default, up to 14 months in aggregate form).
